Core Vitreoretinal Fellowship Skills

- Objectives:
This comprehensive vitreoretinal fellowship aims to:
- Acquire several situations in the diagnosis and medical management of retinal diseases.
- Educate the participants on how to analyse several forms of retinal images including OCT, OCT-Angio, and FFA.
- Develop a solid base when it comes to vitreoretinal surgery with the help of new technologies thus as 3D NGENUITY or the Leica Proveo 8 operating microscope.
- Fellowship Protocol: This vitreoretinal fellowship offers ophthalmologists a special chance to refine their abilities in regards to the posterior segment. The program provides overwhelming opportunity for both medical and surgical experiences as well as a focused training in retinal investigation.
- Fellows will attend lectures, discussion sessions, clinics, supervised patient care, and also practical training involving preparation for surgery, and observation of operations in operation theater.
- Dry lab is initially performed to understand and practice all the surgeries related to the posterior segment.
